Mario Party 9 Announced for the Nintendo Wii

Nintendo have also given the Nintendo Wii a little love with a few games coming out this holiday season – it’s not all just about the 3DS and Wii U. One of these titles is something we’ve all seen before and will fit into the holiday spirit of competitive gaming very well – Mario Party 9. Yes, Mario is back in a party mode for his ninth outing as a party game, and it’s set to build on previous iterations of the franchise.

With plenty of new minigames, characters and options to infuriate the player, Mario Party 9 is exactly what the casual gamers needs. Something with Mario, Peach and all of the familiar characters that we’ve grown to love over the years with the feel of a mini-game that the Nintendo Wii has become known for. A complete release date is yet to be issued; however, we know that the US date will be this holiday season so it would be expected for the UK’s release date to be similar as not to miss out on the Christmas rush.
