Armored Core V dated

The team over at NamcoBandai today donned suits of armour and starting a jousting tournament in honour of Armoured Core V being ready for release in the UK. Yes, the title that clearly has no medieval themes at all has been cleared to be released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this very month.

Whilst they might not technically have donned anything out of the ordinary, they do claim that Armoured Core V will be. With new battles designed to appeal to MMO players with huge team based skirmishes in an offline mode, it would appear that they are trying to make this somewhat of an epic title.

Players will also be able to customize their Armoured Core with countless unlockable parts creating their own personal weapons of mass destruction.

The confirmed release date on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is the 23 March 2012.
