Sega have finally confirmed that Nights Into Dreams will be seeing a HD remake for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC and will be released in the Autumn. The game will be a download only title and not have a physical boxed release. The game was originally released on Sega Saturn and was a popular new franchise for the console. Nights also made appearances on the Dreamcast and PlayStation 2 and a follow up for the Nintendo Wii in 2007.

“The Sega Saturn offered many unique gaming experiences, and Nights into dreams stands out as one of the most recognisable titles that found a home on the system.” Sega’s Vice President Chris Olsen said in a statement. “We’ve gotten a lot of requests about this game over the years, and are very happy to be able to give both former Saturn owners and new players a chance to play it in its most beautiful form to date this autumn.”

The usual leaderboards, trophies and achievements will be included in the title as well as the option to play in either high definition or the original Saturn presentation.
