Splinter Cell release slipped

Amazon have posted the details of the latest in the Splinter Cell series and have dated it for release on 28th March 2013. It will also have an exclusive UK supply of the Upper Echelon collectors edition which include the usual extra mission and equipment but also Upper Echelon Googles that “shine gold” according to the listing.

The game will be presented in a shiny steelbook and come with an A2 poster and a leaflet detailing Sam’s extra mission. This special edition will be available for the PC Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for the normal retail price. A Wii U version is also said to be in development.
