Bethesda announces Dishonored voice talents

Bethesda have detailed the voice talents to lend themselves to the up and coming first person stealth em up Dishonored. You might want to take a seat for this as it is one list packed full of talented actors and actresses. This includes an Oscar winner, a Golden Globe winner and a couple of Emmy nominated persons too! A Not too shabby line up, head in side to find out exactly who Bethesda has managed to rope into the game.

The Oscar winning Susan Sarandon, will make her videogame debut as the former aristocrat, Granny Rags – an intriguing old blind woman now deranged after years of street life. Through out the streets we can also hear Princess Leia – Carrie Fisher broadcasting government propaganda over loudspeakers throughout the city of Dunwall, the setting of the game.

Brad Dourif takes on the role of the inventor Piero, creator of the iconic mask worn by the main protagonist Corvo as well as a wealth of gadgets Corvo can use in the game. John Slattery takes on the role of Admiral Havelock, a Loyalist who helps Corvo on his quest, as well as Michael Madsen who brings his videogame voiceover experience to the role of Daud, a mysterious assassin.

Chloë Grace Moretz portrays Young Lady Emily, the Empress’ daughter who is kidnapped after her mother’s death while Lena Headey joins the cast as Calista, Emily’s caretaker. If this wasn’t enough high profile actors, Bethesda have also confirmed that Composer Daniel Licht famed for his work on Dexter will also provide the game’s music and original score.

“Having such talented actors voice Dishonored’s compelling cast of characters adds a rich, powerful element to the game,” said Raphaël Colantonio, president of Arkane Studios. “We want to draw people into this virtual world and make it feel real. This celebrated cast adds wonderful depth and credibility to the overall Dishonored gameplay experience.”

Dishonored launches 12th October for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
