Latest Borderlands 2 information

2K games have released a new trailer and information regarding the next game in what is becoming one of the newest franchises in the video game world. Borderlands 2, the brutal follow up to the cel-shaded shooter is slowly taking shape. They have announced a new character class that will take the shape of DLC and a boss that you will be unlikely to kill.

The boss quest is aptly named “You.Will.Die.(Seriously.)” and features one of the hardest enemies known to Video Gamers. Terramorphous the Invincible is a massive rock like creature that has so many hit points you just won’t bother. Most hits will kill players. Fact. The reason for Gearbox’s inclusion is down to the success of the You.Will.Die mission from the first title inspired the developers to go away and return with something harder and meaner.

The new class introduced as Downloadable content takes the name of Mechromancer. She is a pigtailed punk with one arm that allows an easier skill tree than the main characters. Her main skill is to summon Deathtrap – a full robot that draws fire away from the players. She is mainly used for beginners who struggle with First Person Shooters as you only have to aim roughly in the area of bad guys for her shots to hit.

This isn’t to say The Mechromancer will be plain sailing. Oh no. She will get a harder skill set that will take a seasoned player to master. She will be available two months after the launch of Borderlands 2, which in itself will release in September on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
