Final Fantasy VII is one of the most famous games of all time, hotly debated as the best Final Fantasy game of all time and some people think it’s one of the best games of all time. Whilst in my humble opinion, it doesn’t beat Ocarina of Time, it’s still great. Square Enix recognise this, even if they haven’t HDed it yet. Today though, they’ve announced that the PC version is to be rereleased and they’ve also confirmed the very affordable price.

For those of us without PlayStation 3s and can’t download it on the PSN, or for those of you without a copy of the original or a PS1 memory card, you can now download Final Fantasy VII on the PC for just £7.99. This promotional price is only valid until the 1 September 2012, so you can download it now!

This new downloadable version includes a range of new features such as a Character Booster that enables players to fully power up their character, cloud saves, and in-game achievements to encourage players to explore various facets of the game.
