DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power Announced Exclusively For Nintendo Switch, Coming 4th June
After dipping it’s toes into publishing established super hero franchises in 2019’s Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, Nintendo have announced they are publishing DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power and it is coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch on 4th June.
DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power is based on the TV show of the same name and has been developed by Warner Bros Entertainment. You play as a teenage Barbara Gordon who has to juggle being a high school student at Metropolis High, as well as teaming up with the Super Hero Girls to save the city.
From the trailer you can see that each one of the heroes has a special ability. Supergirl can fly & Batgirl uses special gadgets in combat. As teenage superheroes, the players explore Metropolis, post selfies of their adventures on their in-game Superstapost account or revamp a run-down district.
The quippy combat doesn’t look too bad and with the success of the Teen Titans Go! TV series, we think that younger gamers will enjoy this fun, bright and colourful take on the DC Universe. We’re not sure of it’s appeal to a wider audience though.
