Faraday Protocol is a first person, story driven puzzle game that looks like a cross between a 1950s sci-fi movie and the glory days of the 1920s American Gangster scene. Released on consoles and PC within the past month, Italian developers Red Koi Box and published by Deck 13, we have a look at what to expect from Faraday Protocol.

Raug Zeekon, an interstellar archaeologist from the planet Cunor who has bent by his company to investigate the source of a mysterious signal coming from an unexplored star system. After landing, Raug has been greeted by Opis, a structure that contains complex puzzles and trails that need completing in order to progress in the story.

Tricky puzzles and mysteries involving a lost civilisation involving a creepy AI system are the order of the day. It sounds a little Portal, but with more than opening gates, Faraday Protocol looks like it’ll be a tricky puzzle game to get our teeth into.

Faraday Protocol released across all consoles and PC just a few weeks ago and a demo is already available on Steam, if you wanted to try before you buy.
