Time To Get Dirt-y As January’s PS Plus Line-up Is Live

Sony have dropped the three free games you can claim as part of PlayStation Plus line-up. Deep Rock Galactic gets the headline banner with rally spectacular Dirt 5 along with Muso-spin off Persona 5 Strikers filling up the grid. All games will be available to be added to your PlayStation libraries until February and remain playable until your subscription ends.

This month is a little special for players as two out of three games – Dirt 5 and Deep Rock Galactic include both PS4 and PlayStation 5 versions. Previous months tended to include only one PS5 game. If this trend continues, we can finally expect more next generation games being made available.

Deep Rock Galactic comes to PS5 & PS4 today as part of the PS Plus line-up. Originally released in 2020 for PC and Xbox, this is a 1-4 player co-op shooter where players take the form of dwarves who set about mining randomly generated caves to complete set missions and fight earn that much sort after space minerals.

Dirt 5 originally launched on 6th November 2020 and a next-gen patch was ready for the PS5’s release a few weeks later. The codemasters developed game includes a smooth 120FPS mode which allows for precision handling around the many rally courses. If you’ve not checked this one out and enjoy racing games, this is a solid pick.

Persona 5 Strikers from Sega is developed jointly by serious stalwarts ATLUS, as well as Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force team. This spin-off sequel merges RPG elements from the Persona series and mixes them with the action of a Dynasty Warriors game. It was well recieved when it was released early last year and a must play for fans of both series.

Along with the PlayStation Plus line-up, a handful of new games have made their way onto PS Now to download and play today:
