Headland Is Coming To Switch This Week
Developers Northplay are bringing their colourful adventure game Headland to the Nintendo Switch later this week. In this fastpaced world you’re given a task to rebuild the imagination of Nor, a child who has lost all of the colour and inspiration into his world.
Entering into Nor’s Headland and setting about gathering scattered fragments of his creativity are the order of the day here and through exploring grassy meadows, deep caves and dark castles of Headland’s dreamlike world, there’s a host an adventure full of varied challenges for you to overcome and monsters to defeat as Nor quests to restore his imagination back to it’s full potential.
Along the way, NPCs in the form of robots will join the adventure to help restore Nor’s imagination world. Resources are also key to progression in the game as these will help unlock and upgrade weapons, for those challenging baddies for an experience that will last around 7 hours.
Headland is shaping up to be a great little indie game and coming off the back off a successful release on iOS and Google Play last year, Headland has been retooled for a console experience, with additional content specific for this release so we’re excited to see how the game shapes up when it’s released in just a couple of days.
Headland releases on 13th January for £17.99/$19.99 and is coming to PC via Steam in a few months time.
