Monark Gets New Trailer And Demo

Ahead of the 22nd February release date for Monark, NIS America have announced a demo for the game as well as a new trailer laying out the game’s story as well as showcasing some of the RPG’s battle sequences. The demo is available across all platforms – Nintendo Switch, PC & both PlayStation 5 & PlayStation 4.

In Monark a deadly Mist has surrounded Shin Mikado Academy. In order to save the school, and undoubtedly the world, the students must learn to harness Authority of Vanity and conjure a battalion of Fiends, whose power comes from the Ego of their master. That’s right, Monark encourages egotism in order to succeed.

Developing the Ego through various psychological tests leads to the enhancement of the regiments which help when facing off against the seven “Pactbearers” that are corrupting the academy. Fellow students and instructors will lend their aid in the quest in this RPG.

We’ve had our eye on Monark since it was announced last June as I simply love the concept that I have to have a massive ego to succeed! While it does look like a solid game, once I’ve played through the demo, I’ll report back.

Monark will be available from 22nd February 2022 across PlayStation 5, PS4, PC & Nintendo Switch and the demo is available, at no extra cost, from one of the digital store fronts.
