Vampire The Masquerade – Bloodhunt Begins In April

The free to play battle royale, Vampire The Masquerade – Bloodhunt will leave Steam Early Access as a full launch, coupled with the release of the PlayStation 5 version will take place in April. To celebrate pre-orders being opened up, developers Sharkmob have also released a trailer teasing what players should expect from this free-for-all brawler.

Bloodhunt will be fully launching on 27th April 2022 on PlayStation 5 and PC. In this third-person action shooter based on the the Vampire: The Masquerade table-top RPG, players will take to the streets of Prague for epic battles between ruthless vampire fighting to dominate the night armed with supernatural powers, weapons and their own cunning. 

Bloodhunt is poised to make use of PlayStation 5 specific qualities such as using the DualSense’s features and the console’s 3D Audio output. While the title will be free-to-play for all players, players can pre-order the PlayStation 5 Founder’s Ultimate Edition for £49.99, which comes with 100+ additional cosmetics items for players to customise their characters even more and 1,000 Tokens of in-game currency to purchase vanity items or the game’s Battle Pass.

We’ve poured hours into the table-top game over the years and are always eager to revisit the Vampire universe. Hopefully there is some bite to this battle royale and it doesn’t fall into obscurity. We’ll know soon enough as the game will release on Steam and PlayStation 5 on 27th April.
