Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have jointly announced that Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and Xbox One in March 2023 and pre-orders will shortly open with a number of goodies on offer.

Wo Long is currently scheduled to launch on 3rd March and is billed as a masocore action-RPG. Think Elden Ring and Dark Souls and you won’t be far off. Players take the mantle of a nameless militia soldier who is fighting for survival in a dark fantasy version of the Later Han Dynasty. Demons plague the Three Kingdoms and players have to fight off deadly creatures and enemy soldiers using swordplay based on the Chinese martial arts, mixed with some typical video game fantasy.

Along with the standard version of the game, there will be a Digital Deluxe Edition across the various digital stores. This edition will include bonus costumes, digital art book, mini soundtrack and a Season Pass. The pass is set to feature three pieces of DLC each containing new generals, demons, scenarios, stages, and weapon types.

For physical collectors a limited-edition SteelBook will also be available. The SteelBook Launch Edition as it’s known includes an exclusive collectible case along with bonus DLC items “Crown of Zhurong” and “Crown of Gonggong”. Sadly, it doesn’t include the season pass.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and Xbox One from 3rd March 2023. The game will also release on Xbox Game Pass from the same day.
