PlayStation Exclusive The Pathless Coming To Xbox And Switch In February

When The Pathless was released in 2020, it was one of the first games to showcase the power of the PlayStation 5 as a console exclusive. Today the publisher, Annapurna Interactive, has announced that the open world adventure is coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox consoles in just a few days time.

Developed by Giant Squid, the folks behind ABZÛ, The Pathless will release digitally on 2nd February. In the game, you take control of the Hunter, a master archer who travels to a mystical island to dispel a curse of darkness that grips the world and the new trailer can be found below.

With the help of your eagle companion, players can zip through the world, hunting down the possessed spirits to resort the balance of the planet. The game features a slick, frenetic play style, allowing you to perform fluid acrobatics and execute trick shots while moving at a high speed. There is no map to walk you through the land and success depends on following your own instincts.

When the PlayStation version released, iam8bit handled the physical side of things and Annapurna have confirmed that they have partnered with the team once again but only for a Switch version. More details on what that will entail will follow at a later date.

But for now, The Pathless will be out on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch from 2nd February. It is out now for PlayStation 5, PS4 and PC.
