Have A Nice Death Gets New Trailer Ahead Of March Release

Revealed during the Media Indie Exchange Direct Showcase earlier today, the trailer details what we can expect from Magic Design Studios’ latest game, Have a Nice Death. In the 2D action roguelike game players assume the role of Death, the CEO of Death Incorporated.

Your mission in Have a Nice Death is to hack ’n’ scythe your way through the company’s departments to get it back in order so you can take a break. Each department is procedurally-generated, providing a fresh and exciting experience with each playthrough. The game is set to be released on 22 March for Switch and PC.

Have a Nice Death features a darkly charming atmosphere and as the CEO of Death Incorporated, players have a plethora of perks, including granting themselves helpful curses that provide permanent passive bonuses or buffs and accepting special contracts that provide challenges and bonuses.

In this game dying also has its benefits as players receive a performance review after each attempt, granting them ingots that can be used to unlock unique over 70 unique weapons, items, and upgrades to aid their journey. There are even multiple difficulty options, including a beginner-friendly mode and 15 Breakdown difficulty modes for players to challenge themselves with.

Have a Nice Death is due out for Nintendo Switch and PC on 22 March.
