Nintendo have announced a sequel to one of the most iconic Switch launch titles. No, we’re not talking about Tears of the Kingdom, but Everybody 1-2 Switch, the follow up to Nintendo’s unique party game. To make things even better for fans is that it’s out this month.

Everybody 1-2 Switch has had minimal information given since it’s announcement. We do know that it’s out on 30th June and will be priced at around £25ish (it’s US RRP is $29.99) and the file size is around 3.3GB, but that’s it. There is no trailer indicating what minigames people will be getting into and all we have to go off is the blurb from the Nintendo website:

Mix up your next get-together with the Everybody 1-2-Switch! game. Grab some Joy-Con controllers or smart devices for team-based games that are easy to set up and feature everything from balloons to aliens, and more! People at your next party can get moving and show off their teamwork in this multiplayer mashup.

A mix of games and modes to keep you on your toes!

Use Joy-Con controllers or smart devices, team up, and let the games begin. Split into teams and see which group can win a certain number of games first. Many games have several variations that change up the rules or add extra challenge!

It seems that Nintendo are taking the Jackbox approach with this party game, allowing for both controllers and phones to be used. Quite what “games and modes” we’ll be playing remains to be seen but here’s hoping Everybody 1-2 Switch is as ridiculous as the previous entry.

Everybody 1-2 Switch is out for Switch on 30 June.
