The Room Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary With A Huge Sale

In September The Room will celebrate a decade of being available. This also marks 10 years since Fireproof Games will have released their first, and BAFTA-award winning game. To mark the occasion, the developers will be running a meaty sale across all platforms for the entire series starting in September.

First launched in 2012, The Room sees players following a mysterious series of letters that takes you through a game shrouded in in secrets and deception. Over the last 10 years, the game has gone on to sell 18 million copies across mobile, Steam, Nintendo Switch and VR platforms, as well as branching into a well loved, and award winning puzzle series. The latest game, The Room VR: A Dark Matter was recently released on the PlayStation VR 2.

To celebrate the original release though, players will be able to purchase the remastered editions of The Room and The Room Two on Nintendo Switch for a rather hefty 85% discount in the eShop. Those in the US will get 80% off and the promotion runs from 1st September until the 22nd.

All Room titles will also be discounted up to 90% off on Steam from September 1st to September 14th; and up to 75% off on Google Play Store from September 1st until September 8th.

The Room is available now on PC, Switch, VR and Mobile platforms.
