LEGO Marvel Super Heroes confirmed
LEGO games have been going from strength to strength since LEGO Star Wars back in 2005. Recently we have been treated to Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings being lovingly recreated using the popular child’s toy. DC Comics have also had success with Batman and friends in last year’s LEGO Batman 2 DC Heroes. They have attracted so much attention that Disney thought it was time to weigh in and today, Marvel along with the LEGO group and TT Games announce LEGO Marvel Super Heroes for all formats.
New Bioshock Infinite images
Four new screenshots have been released, teasing the release of the latest Bioshock game. Featuring the expected bucket loads of blood and also a heavy book to the face – these images remind us that Bioshock is still coming and despite it’s recent delays, will be with us by April.
Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse screenshots
Activision has released a batch of new screenshots for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 title, Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse. The game, inspired by the multiverse episode of Family Guy sees Brain and Stewie set off on an adventure to track down Bertram – Stewie’s half brother – after he hatches a plot to kill the maniacal English baby.
New Crysis 3 trailer and preorder bonuses
Electronic Arts and Crytek studios have released the latest trailer for Crysis 3, the up and coming first person shooting game player set in a futuristic New York city which has been overrun and sealed away from the rest of America by the Cell corporation. Turned into a waste land full of tress and marshes, the Prophet returns to seek revenge. In the latest trailer, we see more of a multiplayer mode and the wealth of preorder bonuses on offer.
Assassin’s Creed Anthology
Assassin’s Creed 3 is now firmly doing the rounds since it released last week. Hitting the top spot in the UK and shipping millions of copies across the platforms and with a Wii U launch imminent and DLC on the way through out next year – everything seems to be going well for the publisher Ubisoft. Well Ubisoft don’t seem to think so as they have announced the Assassin’s Creed Anthology is to be released. The anthology is a collection of all five games plus all of the released downloadable content.
Dead or Alive 5 costume pack DLC free
Dead or Alive, a very famous videogame franchise is now offering their first costume pack off of the back of Dead or Alive 5 for free. You’ll be able to download these costumes immediately for both the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. Kokoro, who gets a new festival outfit; Zack, with a new alien costume; Helena, who reveals her swallowtail outfit; and Bayman, rocking a new beret. The master Gen Fu steps out in his new Tiger Kung Fu uniform, Christie gets even hotter in her new leather gear, Tina dons a new blue ring outfit, and the all-new character Mila takes on a little cosplay. Even the included Virtua Fighterâ„¢ characters, Akira, Sarah and Pai, see a whole new round of costume updates.
Prepare yourselves – CoD is bringing back the Zombies
Activision has released a teaser trailer for Call of Duty Black Ops 2 showing that the zombies are returning to the game. A full reveal is expected in just a few short days as Activision look to build on the Call of Duty momentum as we edge ever closer to the November release. Head inside for the new trailer.
PlayStation 3 Super Slim Confirmed
On 25th September the UK will have a new, slimmer PS3 on the shelves. The 500GB console that we broke the news on in July has finally been confirmed by Sony. The console, which is approx 25% smaller than the Slim PS3 and half the size of the original toaster PlayStation 3 was announced in Tokyo this morning and will retail for around £299.99 from most retailers.
Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Wii U Details
In the Nintendo of America presentation it was announced that Call of Duty Black Ops 2 will be a launch game for the Wii U console and Activision were on hand to explain what new features to expect and what they have done to make the Wii U version stand out from the competition. No Metal Gear Rising Revengeance on Xbox 360 in Japan
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance has been cancelled for the Xbox 360. Well in Japan at least. The European launch for both Microsoft’s console and the PlayStation 3 is still on course Konami assure us. There are various reasons that this could have happened and Konami have not disclosed them to us but the one that sticks out is that despite the worldwide success of Xbox, it is struggling in Japan.
