Metal Gear Rising: Revengence is coming…
Konami have lifted the lid on the long awaited follow up to Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Metal Gear Rising: Revengence was announced way back in 2008 and little has been said about the game, that is until now. This time, Konami are implementing a lot of changes to the project. In this Metal Gear game the development will be handled by Platinum Games, who have created some of the finest games such as Madworld, Bayonetta and the up and coming Anarchy Reigns. Read On
Hitman: Absolution Details Announced
IO Interactive and Square Enix have released more information about the fifth entry into the Hitman series, titled Absolution. Absolution follows much loved Agent 47, his usual cold-blooded self, taking on more contracts. Constantly being hunted by police and betrayed, following on from the previous titles, he enters a new conspiracy through a corrupt world. Agent 47 still continually searching for the truth. IO interactive are keen to show off their Glacier 2 Technology featuring an all encompassing cinematic story and distinctive art work and design. New features have also been disclosed. Read On
New Final Fantasy XIII-2 Screenshots
Square Enix, Final Fantasy XIII-2 creators, presented players with new screenshots of the title today. The game is a direct sequel to Final Fantasy XIII and features the same role playing dynamic. After the events of the previous game, the protagonist, Lightning, is in an unknown world (a blessing if you played the previous title) and after three years missing, Lightning’s younger sister, Serah and a young boy named Noel attempt to find her. Max Payne 3 Multiplayer Emergence
Rockstar’s lead designer who is currently working on eagerly anticipated shooter Max Payne 3 has spilt the beans about new multiplayer functions in the game. This is not to say that the narrative element, that runs strong in Both Max Payne 1 and 2 will be lost, hard graft has been put into 3 to make it better than its predecessors. The Third-person shooter will feature elements such as ‘Gang Wars’ in an attempt to produce a narrative-based multiplayer mode involving the mobs that players meet during the single player campaign. DmC trailer goes live
The latest in the Devil May Cry series – DmC has a new trailer. It sees a black haired Dante running through the streets of a Spanish looking city, trying to escape while being hurled abuse at by some unknown force. Bringing the style of previous games to the plate, CAPCOM will be bringing us the story of a teenage Dante who has to deal with being half a demon as well as coping with the stresses of being a teen. Ninja Gaiden 3 Release Set
Ultra violent and ultra cool Ninja Ryu Hayabusa will be returning to our consoles on 23rd March for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Ninja Gaiden 3. The game picks up where the second instalment left – Ryu’s arm has been cursed and he is out to find the ones that has done this. Team NINJA who are developing the game say that the game will not revolve around just killing people, they will focus on the story of Ryu himself. Read On
SEGA Anarchy Reigns gets a Summer release
SEGA have announced a Summer 2012 release date for new online multiplayer Brawler Anarchy Reigns. The game is being created by Platinum Games, makers of Bayonetta and Vanquish. Also, Konami’s Metal Gear Rising. SEGAs Gary Knight stated that it will ‘bring a new type of gaming to the Brawler genre.’ Read On

Yakuza fans should be excited as next year will see the release of Yakuza: Dead Souls, a game that sees the Japanese family gang take on the undead in their latest tale of violence in a life of crime. The Doctor to attend Vita launch
Doctor Who, or the game form at least, is to be making an appearance at the UK launch for PlayStation Vita. The Supermassive Games production features Matt Smith as the Doctor and Alex Kingston as River Song. It is to be called Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock. This is one of the first few games to be announced for the much anticipated Sony handheld to be released on 22nd February 2012. Read On
Mass Effect 3 Latest Trailer
EA and Bioware have released the next trailer for Mass Effect 3 which is due on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. This will be the third installment of the BAFTA award winning trilogy. Following on from the previous events in Mass Effect 1 and 2, this concludes the story of Commander Shephard. The game will feature a multiplayer function, an improved cover system and more options on the battlefield. Kinect users can also use voice commands to control the party. Read On
