FIFA 13
As is tradition at E3, EA have announced that FIFA 13 will be releasing this year on pretty much every console. This year they bring Kinect integration to the Xbox version, which means you will be able to shout at the Kinect microphone to make substitutions and a more social element to the game which allows players to share details over Facebook.
Aliens: Colonial Marines Trailer
Sega have announced a new trailer that shows off Aliens Colonial Marines – the latest first person shooting game which is set after the events of the third Alien film in the series. We follow the marines as they try and track down Ripley – not knowing the events that have unfolded from the second and third films.
New Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes infomration
The first of the LEGO series of video games is getting a sequel in which, gamers will be shouting “I’m Batman!” at everything and everyone once again. That’s right, Warner Brothers and TT Games are presenting Lego Batman 2 at E3 2012. This time they have brought some friends from the DC universe.
New Resident Evil 6 E3 Trailer
Capcom have released the latest trailer for the next survival horror game, Resident Evil 6. Taking the on the roles of Chris Redfield, Leon S Kennedy and son of Wesker: Jake Muller, players must travel to world to stop the outbreak of the deadly C-Virus, which has taken control of most of the world’s population.
Spinter Cell Blacklist Announced
Ubisoft have announced the return of Splinter Cell and its iconic night vision goggles for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles. The game is due for release in early 2013. Sam Fisher is back and this time he has been given the ultimate freedom to protect innocents against a series of global terror attacks known as Blacklist – the freedom to use limitless force, to break every law, and to become the globe’s deadliest operative. If he succeeds, the President of the United States will deny any information that Sam exists. If he fails, millions will die.
Loads of South Park: The Stick of Truth information
Trey Parker and Matt Stone were on hand at the Microsoft press conference to formally announce South Park: The Stick of Truth. The title created with a collaboration between Stone, Parker and THQ. The game begins with a new kid in town facing the ultimate challenge of making friends. Starting the quest the children of South Park are embroiled in a city-wide, live-action-role-playing game, casting imaginary spells and swinging fake swords. Over time the simple children’s game escalates into a battle of good and evil that threatens to consume the world.
Fable: The Journey information
Fable: The Journey is the latest game in the Xbox exclusive series and sees a new change of direction. A first person narrative has been introduced as we play as our new protagonist Gabriel, a young dweller who has lost his tribe comes across the mysterious Theresa and is thrown into a world of adventure full of dangerous enemies, hair-raising chases and humorous characters. As Gabriel traverses through dangerous lands with, he will learn to master magic as a deadly weapon, defend himself in combat and solve puzzles on his journey.
Forza Horizon Coming to Xbox 360
Another one of Microsoft’s exclusive franchies is getting a showcase at E3 this year, Forza Horizon is the latest entry into the racing series on the Xbox 360. This time it is looking as sharp as the series has ever been.
Xbox Music Announced
Games were not the only order of business at the Microsoft conference at E3 today. Also announced was a Music service for the Xbox, cleverly titled Xbox Music. This service lets you download and share music with your friends through Xbox, but that is not all.
Tomb Raider
Lara Croft returns in the first full game reboot to the franchise since Square Enix took over Crystal Dynamics and Edios entertainment. Since the reveal trailer last E3 2011 all has been quiet on the Croft Front. However in Microsoft’s press conference they announced a new trailer that sees Lara fighting for her survival.
