Action adventure, ‘Europa’, gets an autumn release date

Started in 2017 as a passion project by Overwatch and Diablo 3 artist, Helder Pinto, Ghibli-inspired action-adventure, Europa finally had its’ release date confirmed during the Nintendo Indie World showcase.

Set on the terraformed moon of Jupiter of the same name, Europa tells the story of Zee, an android who’s on a quest for answers. You’ll run, glide, and fly your way through beautiful landscapes, unlocking the secrets of a lost civilisation and uncovering the tale of the very last human.

Europa is a peaceful adventure of discovery and exploration, where you’ll discover breathtaking lands filled with lakes, meadows, mountains, and secrets. You’ll solve puzzles, bolster your abilities, and continually upgrade your Zephyr backpack until you can swoop freely through the skies.

Published by indie games champions, Future Friends Games, the game has already amassed some 250,000 wishlists on Steam, and with its stunning visuals and a delicate storyline, Europa looks to steal plenty of hearts when it releases this autumn.

Europa is scheduled for release on PC (via Steam) and Nintendo Switch, on 11th October 2024.
