Animal Crossing: New Horizons Update Coming In Two Days
Nintendo have announced a small update to Animal Crossing: New Horizons is coming on 29th July as well as the promise of more content by the end of the year. The first update will enable players to enjoy weekly fireworks events as well as ‘seasonal items’.
In a follow-up Tweet to the initial news, Nintendo have confirmed they are working on additional content where more information will be made available closer to the release. This tease is long overdue since Nintendo’s regular updates petered out after the 1 year anniversary, leaving fans to speculate if 31.8 million sales weren’t enough to keep Nintendo updating the title.
We have no idea on what form the update will take, however we’d join the ranks and request Brewster, since his appearance is a gaping omission in our eyes. Still, it’s good to see that Nintendo hasn’t forgotten about Animal Crossing and with the weekly fireworks starting this week, it’ll be a good time to revisit our islanders.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is out now for Nintendo Switch and we’ll be on the look out for more information on that bigger update when it surfaces.
