Blood Bowl 3 Closed Beta Starts Today
The next beta test for Blood Bowl 3 starts today and will run until 3rd February, developers Cyanide have announced in conjunction with publisher Necon. The test for the mega violent take on American Football starring Orcs, Elves and Dwarves will only be available to Steam players who took part in last year’s test but there are some nuggets of information that will interest all players waiting for the game’s release.
Like in the previous beta, users can play with the Black Orcs, Imperial Nobility and Elven Union in tactical turn-based matches against other players (online and offline) or against the AI. A new team: the Dwarfs have been added for that little bit of extra mayhem.
The beta is only available to players who registered during last June’s test and gives players a glimpse at the improvements added to the game over the last few months. These include enhancements to the user interface, smoother gameplay and other improvements from user feedback, Cyanide is hopefully developing Blood Bowl 3 to closely match the expectations of the fanbase.
Blood Bowl 3 is shaping up to be quite a fun experience but doesn’t have a firm release date. It’s currently pencilled in for release across PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 & 4, Xbox Series X|S & One at some point this year.
