Cat Adventure Stray Finally Gets A Release Date

Annapurna Interactive and developer BlueTwelve Studio announced that Stray, the long awaited exploration game where players take control of an adorable ginger cat will release this July. It will also be available through the new PlayStation Plus Premium and Deluxe tiers at no additional cost.

Stray was one of the key indie games in the PlayStation 5 reveal back in 2020 and will now release on 19th July.

Players take on the role of a backpack wearing stray cat in a world populated by robots. The kitty sets out to untangle an ancient mystery to escape a long-forgotten cybercity. Along the way, a small flying drone, known as B12 befriends the feline and together they explore neon-lit alleys and try to avoid all sorts of nasty creatures from causing harm to our precious wanderer.

While the game will be available across both PS5 & PS4 consoles as well as PC, Stray will also be included as part of the PS Plus Premium and Deluxe lineup, marking the first simultaneous release for the revamped service.

Stray will finally release on 19th July for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC. It will also be included in the PS Plus Premium and Deluxe tiers at no cost.
