Co-Op Mode Is Coming To Ys IX: Monstrum Nox
NIS America have announced that Co-Op mode is coming to the PC version of RPG Ys IX: Monstrum Nox from today. To show off the new features of how the team up works, we have the trailer explaining all of the features. NIS have said this is an experiemental build which is why it’s only working for the PC version and not the consoles.
Ys IX: Monstrum Nox can be played together either through local play, or remotely via Remote Play Together
on Steam and should make those tough boss fights a lot easier to manage as well as finding all the secrets hidden as you explore the city of Balduq.
In the action RPG renowned adventurer Adol “the Red” Christin and his companion Dogi arrive at Balduq, a city annexed by the Romun Empire, only for Adol to be detained before setting foot inside. While imprisoned, he meets a mysterious woman named Aprilis who turns him into a Monstrum, a being with supernatural Gifts and the power to exorcise monsters. Now, Adol must ally with his fellow Monstrums to fend off the fearsome threats emerging from a shadowy dimension called the Grimwald Nox, as well as unravel the mysteries of the Monstrum curse, and the truth behind the unrest within Balduq.
Ys IX: Monstrum Nox co-op is available as an update on the Steam version on PC. The game is also available in single player form on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Stadia.
