Cult Of The Lamb Edges Closer To Release – Physical Editions Incoming

Devolver Digital is bringing The Cult of the Lamb to the masses in just a few days and is one of most anticipated games. Players will be able to get their hands on this cute/violent adventure game across PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC and as the launch day gets closer, details of how players can get their hands on the physical edition is starting to seep through.

Cult of the Lamb is a rogue-like action-adventure game developed by indie company Massive Monster, published by Devolver Digital and scheduled to release on 11th August. The game follows a possessed lamb who was saved from death by a stranger named ‘The One Who Waits’. To repay the favour, the lamb is tasked to create a following in the demon’s name.

The game was originally scheduled to be a digital only deal but Special Reserve games announced they’ll handle a physical version for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 players. Pre-orders were supposed to launch later in the year as the team wanted to finalise what features will be included but since the community has been vocal, they are opening orders from 11th August and will run until 11th December.

While we have to wait a few days to see what goodie will be included in the package, Special Reserve are hoping to have all DLC included on the cart/disc so there will be no additional downloads. They’ve done some amazing collections in the past like the lovely Trek to Yomi edition.

Cult of the Lamb will release digitally across Steam, PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One & Nintendo Switch on 11th August. The physical edition for PS5 & Switch will follow at a later date.
