Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition Announced
CD Projekt Red has confirmed a complete edition of Cyberpumk 2077 is coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in the coming weeks. The Ultimate Edition bundles together the base game, the substantial 2.0 update and the recently released Phantom Liberty DLC.
Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition will be available for purchase digitally on 5th December. A physical edition is also scheduled for release “in selected markets.” The release of this complete edition marks the first time folks can get their hands physically on the next-gen version of the game.
The PS4 and Xbox One versions will not be getting the Ultimate Edition of the game owing to Phantom Liberty not being available for the platforms. While disappointing, it’s an understandable move as Cyberpunk 2077 arguably shouldn’t have released on the aging hardware owing to the sheer amount of bugs they contained.
Playing as V, you explore the underworld of Night City, a place ruled by criminals and greedy corporations. Joined by Johnny Silverhand, V can choose to either become the head honcho of the underworld or burn everything to the ground. Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition features Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand and Idris Elba as Solomon Reed.
After nearly three years on since the less than favourable release, CD Projekt have been busy fixing and changing the open-world RPG and the PS5/Xbox Series versions are finally at a point where players can get an brilliant experience out of the title.
