Dead by Daylight is taking the horror back in time with their latest map. Behaviour Interactive have previously tackled slasher horrors with Friday 13th and Saw. Even Resident Evil has seen representation in the cat and mouse survival game. This time however, it is The Knight which will be on the hunt as the Forged in Fog update hits consoles.

Releasing today on all platforms comes Dead By Daylight: Forged in Fog update. This adds a new map – The Shattered Square, where Forged in Fog’s medieval themes become apparent. In the story, the once thriving village has been razed to the ground by The Knight and his gruesome minions – The Carnifex, The Assassin, and The Jailer, all of whom can be summoned by the player acting as The Killer.

For survivors looking to win the fight against The Knight, Vittorio Toscano is a peace loving alternative to the brutal maniac. The scholar was on a quest to uncover arcane secrets for the greater good before his village was wrecked.

Along with the new chapter, map and characters Dead by Daylight will have outfits for Vittorio Toscano and The Knight as part of the Forged in Fog Collection. A very rare Arcane Ink outfit for Vittorio gives players mysterious glowing tattoos that adore the survivor and is paired with a distinct leather trousers and ancient amulets ensemble. The Knight on the other hand can nab ultra rare Enchanted Plates – an outfit that sees him clad in ancient mystical armour, again emblazoned with glowing runes.

Dead by Daylight: Forged in Fog Chapter is available now via PC, PS5, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
