Destiny 2 Season of the Chosen Kicks Off Today

Destiny 2‘s thirteenth season titled Season of the Chosen goes live today and runs until 11th May. We take a look at what to expect from this season as well as a few of the unlockables you can get.

Bungie have released a trailer to tease you before jumping into the game which shows Guardians facing off with the Cabal for a fight over the Last City:

The synopsis of this season is:

With the Pyramids and Xivu Arath destabilizing the system, Empress Caiatl, leader of the Cabal and daughter of Calus, seeks an alliance. But when she demands more than Zavala can offer, negotiations collapse, and Guardians must become the tip of the spear that strikes at her growing war council.

You’ll get to enjoy new Strikes, weapons and gear upgrades as well as seeing the return of Devil’s Lair and Fallen S.A.B.E.R. Strikes from the original Destiny. If you are a Season Pass owner, you’ll also instantly unlock the new Seasonal Praefectus Armor Set and Exotic bow, Ticuu’s Divination, which charges multiple arrows that track several targets at once. Additionally, there are over 25 Exotic, Legendary, and ritual weapons available to collect.
