Dimension Tripper Neptune: Top Nep Due For A Steam Release

If you’ve been following the site for the last twelve months, you’ll know that I’ve been pulled into the world of Hyperdimension Neptunia. While we wait for the latest game to be announced, Idea Factory have announced the localisation of Dimension Tripper Neptune: Top Nep for Steam, and it’ll release this month.

Dimension Tripper Neptune: Top Nep is an on rails shooter starting ‘Older Nep’ as she blasts through five stages set within the world of Gameindustri. In this pixel-art style blaster, Neptune takes on hordes of enemies, bosses and eggplants. If players manage to collect enough coins throughout the stages, Nep will be joined by one of nine support characters.

This is a short, fun arcade game that is purely for players to enjoy setting high scores in the Neptunia universe, which can be seen by the install size of 25MB. Top Nep is only scheduled for a Steam release, however with the announcement that the PS4 Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars is making its way to Steam and Nintendo Switch, there’s still hope that Top Nep will see a console release soon.
