Elden Ring Tarnished Edition is Coming to Nintendo Switch 2

Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition has been confirmed for the Nintendo Switch 2. The game will be released in the summer of 2025 and contains the base game and the chunky Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.

Developed by From Software and published by Bandai Namco, Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition will bring the full RPG to the Nintendo hybrid console for the first time. Along with all the previously released content, the Switch 2 version will also include new sets of armour for Torrent.

From the minds of Hidetaka Miyazaki and George R.R. Martin, Elden Ring has been a runaway success for From Software. To date the tough RPG has clocked up 28 million sales to date.

Going off the short trailer, Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition for Switch 2 looks to be on par with other versions so it’ll be interesting to see if fans will be tempted to return to the Lands Between on Nintendo’s hybrid console when it releases in Summer 2025.
