Elden Ring Nightreign Will Release In May 2025

FromSoftware and Bandai Namco confirms that Elden Ring Nightreign will hit PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles on 30 May 2025. The three-player co-op game will also see a release on the previous PlayStation and Xbox generation.

Set in the Elden Ring universe, Nightreign is FromSoftware’s latest unforgiving game that challenges players to team up and take on enemies throughout the harsh world of The Lands Between. Teaming up in squads of three players set out to outlast three days in the wild. If they succeed, they’ll be given the chance to take on a tough Nightlord boss for the chance to earn some tasty rewards. Unsuccessful runs still result in useful items to help power up the characters, ready for the next attempt.

Combat and exploration will fluctuate with different biomes, weapons and enemies so gamers must keep an eye on everyting in order to make it through Elden Ring Nightreign.

As well as the announcement of the release date, Bandai Namco has also given an insight as to the various editions of the game. Elden Ring Nightreign will be availble physically (almost) in a number of different guises which we’ve detailed below.
