Exoprimal Announced By Capcom – Coming 2023
During Sony’s State of Play, Capcom took to the stage to announce their newest IP – Exoprimal, a 5v5 multiplayer where dinosaurs drop from a portal in the sky and cause mayhem across the globe. It’s up to a team of mech-ed out fighters to come together and stop the dinos before they become food.
There will be a wait for the game as it’s scheduled to debut across PlayStation, Xbox & PC next year. In the meantime here’s the announcement trailer:
Exoprimal is giving strong Dynasty Warriors vibes with the 5 vs many dinos and here’s the set-up of the story direct from Capcom.
It’s 2040 and the planet is in crisis. Dinosaurs are appearing from thin air and laying waste to cities across the globe. Threatened by history’s deadliest creatures, the world turns to the powerful Aibius Corporation and its revolutionary technology for help. The company’s next-generation AI, Leviathan, can forecast where dinosaur outbreaks will occur and deploy Exofighters to the area. Armed with state-of-the-art mechanized combat armor known as Exosuits, these warriors represent humanity’s last hope.

The main mode will be Dino Survival, where teams of five fight against thousands of dinosaurs falling from the sky while racing to complete missions before rival squads beat them to it. Capcom is promising a dynamic mix of objectives to keep players interesting, ensuring each match is different form the last.
The mechsuits known as Exofighters will need to stay on their toes and utilise different abilities such as Deadeye for marksman like shooting or the melee based Zephyr as these hunts can quickly transition into cargo deliveries or last stands against relentless assaults. Don’t forget that the opposing teams are given the same opportunities.
Exoprimal is purely built around the online multiplayer, but a narrative is interwoven throughout and the world promises a deep and rich history explaining the dinosaur outbreaks.
Exoprimal will roar onto PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Steam in 2023.
