Far Cry 3 Information and Trailer

Far Cry 3 returns to a tropical island setting much like the first game. The main character is Jason Brody, a tourist who has been stranded on an island chain in the grips of violent local conflict for years.

Jason has been separated from his girlfriend and, in his search for her, developers have stated he will have to deal with a wide cast of mostly unstable characters who have been trapped on these islands for some time.

The violent first person shooter features fast paced action and depicts wild and dangerous characters to contend with. Graphics have been improved due to a redesign of the games Sandbox engine. Far Cry 3 has been given a 6th September release for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 systems.
