Final Fantasy XIII-2 Images

As the months tick by until Square-Enix release the follow up and direct sequel to 2010’s Final Fantasy XIII, we have been treated to more images for the PlayStation3 & Xbox 360 title. Final Fantasy XIII-2 is set after the events of it’s predecessor in a time where citizens have decided to rebuild.

Lightning is missing but Serah and newcomer Noel believe him to be alive. They travel to locations featured previously and to mysterious new ones. As well as some familiar characters, Square have added fresh new faces to help on the adventure. Aside from the main story, we can see from the images below that the Moogle hunt is back! Mog and his friends will be aiding Serah in her quest in some way but we may not know until closer to release.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is due out in 2012.
