The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria takes place in the Fourth Age of Middle-earth, an age rarely spoken about in the mythos created by J.R.R. Tolkien. Players are summoned to the Misty Mountains by Lord Gimli Lockbearer, and then tasked with taking control of a company of Dwarves to reclaim the lost spoils from the Dwarven homeland of Moria.
The quest will send players deep into the Mines of Moria to recover its treasures. Joining forces with others to craft and build supplies will ultimately provide a better yield in treasure, but it soon becomes clear that the Dwarves aren’t the only people in the mines.
Lord of the Rings: Return To Moria is currently in development for PC with a 2023 release. Further information will be revealed in the coming months.
