Harry Potter and the PlayStation Wonderbook featuring JK Rowling

Sony have announced they will be releasing the Wonderbook. This accessory can be used with the PlayStation Eye to produce AR – or Augmented Reality games, much like the EyePet game. This however has a twist as it brings books to life. The first book announced is a new Harry Potter story written by J.K Rowling herself.

The book is entitled Book of Spells and gives players chance to look at the history and lore of spells used in the Harry Potter series. Using the Move controller as a wand, players can cast spells themselves on the TV by using the motioned outlined by the game.

The PlayStation Wonderbook is due out this Winter just in time for Christmas.
