Hitman Absolution Special Edition Announced

Square Enix have announced that a special edition of their latest installment of the Hitman Series. Hitman Absolution Professional Edition will join the ranks of other triple A titles and offer a wealth of extra goodies to tempt you into paying that little bit more.

The Professional Edition includes a premium hardcover art book with a foreword from Game Director Tore Blystad, and an exclusive behind-the-scenes video of the game. All packaged up in a snazzy clamshell box. According to Square Enix that’s not all.

The Professional Edition also includes advanced access to a range of in-game Agency weapons, giving the original assassin a deadly edge over his enemies from the outset. The Agency Jagd P22G pistol will suit silent assassins, while the Agency HX UMP submachine gun and the Agency SPS 12 semi-automatic shotgun will give Agent 47 the power to fight his foes head on.

Square said in the press release. Finally, it appears where ever you pre order Hitman Absolution from a bonus weapon will be included. Provided you live in the USA that is. No word on the pre order bonuses in the UK at the moment.

Hitman Absolution will be out on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 console in 2012.
