After smashing it’s way onto Steam and PlayStation, Kung Fury Street Rage is finally being unleashed on Nintendo Switch. The arcade brawler will bring all previous characters and content, including the excellent A Day At The Beach expansion which added David Hasselhoff, and his incredible chest hair, to the roster.

The Kung Fury Street Rage Ultimate Edition is based on the hit Kickstarter backed movie and puts you in the shoes of Kung Fury, a cop who was imbued with magical kung-fu powers after being struck by lightning and bitten by a cobra at the same time.

As you travel left or right, you’ll face endless waves of Nazi scum who you have to defeat using your special skills. To help Kung Fury will be a selection of comrades including:

  • David Hasselhoff who utilises his singing prowess to blow Nazi minds
  • Hackerman in his robo suit is able to hack enemies out of existence
  • Barbarianna – a Viking warrior who uses her axe and Gatling gun to get the job done
  • Triceracop – Miami’s best dino-cop who never runs out of bullets

The package includes a new 2 player mode and a free-roaming story mode, something that is missing from the PlayStation version. Couple this with the Switch’s ability to go portable, this makes the Switch version of Kung Fury Street Rage Ultimate Edition, the one to own.

We don’t know when Hello There Games will release Kung Fury Street Rage Ultimate Edition, but we’ll be sure to let you know.
