Yakuza fans should be excited as next year will see the release of Yakuza: Dead Souls, a game that sees the Japanese family gang take on the undead in their latest tale of violence in a life of crime. An exclusive for the PlayStation 3, Yakuza: Dead Souls will use excessive force in resolving Japan’s latest epidemic.

Using shotguns, chainsaws, grenades as baseballs and even the odd rail-gun this OTT shooter appears to be a neat mix of action and violence. Think House Of The Dead mixed with a little Gears of War and you get the idea. Yakuza: Dead Souls appears on the PlayStation 3 for March 2012 but no set date.
