Lil Gator Game Is Being Published By Playtonic Friends

Coming from a brand new indie developer, MegaWobble is Lil Gator Game is an adorable adventure game coming to Steam and Nintendo Switch in 2022. It stars one of the cutest Alligators as they go on a journey to be a better friend. So who better to pick up the publishing rights than Playtonic Friends – the publishing arm of Playtonic Stuidos – the team behind Yooka-Laylee.

In Lil Gator Game our hero sets off on a quest, not to save the world but to become a better friend to the people around them. This is set to be one heck of a wholesome and cute game where exploring the sandboxed island and meeting new people is the aim of the game. Lil Gator will employ all the usual tactics from climbing, jumping, gliding and flinging about from adventure to adventure.

Speaking of the partnership with MegaWobble, Gavin Price, CEO at Playtonic Friends had this to say:

We’ve talked a lot this year about what attracts us to new projects and it really boil down to one thing – finding games WE want to play and in a lot of cases wish we’d come up with!

That really couldn’t be more the case with the guys at MegaWobble and the amazing world they’ve created with Lil Gator Game. From the first time we saw a few short gifs online we were so impressed and it just made sense to get in touch with them.  Turns out they are fans of all the same great games as us, shared a love of adventure platformers and so we decided to team up.

Lil Gator Game is expected in 2022 but is available to Wish List on Steam now and will also see a release on the Nintendo Switch.
