Limited Run Games Opens Preorders For Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic

Limited Run Games have announced they are producing physical editions of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for both Nintendo Switch and PC which was released digitally this week. As usual, the games will be open for preorder for a limited time before going into production and will come in a variety of different editions. Let’s take a look, and spoiler alert, they look good!

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is set four thousand years before the rise of the Galactic Empire and the first Star Wars episode, hundreds of Jedi Knights fell in battle against the ruthless Sith. In this RPG you set about mastering the power of the Force on your quest to save the Republic, but along the way our Jedi can succumb to the temptations of the dark side and cause the fall of the Jedi.

Limited Run Games have the following three physical versions available to pre order until 2nd January 2022, at which time they’ll close and be sent for production. Depending on demand, they’re usually posted 3-4 months later, so expect them to be in your console/PC by the middle of next year. These are region free games so will work on any Switch/PC. Knights of the Old Republic Standard Edition

For physical collectors, who aren’t interested in bells and whistles, then the standard physical edition is for you. It’s currently on sale for $34.99 plus postage and any applicable taxes. This is for the Switch only, there isn’t a standard PC version unfortunately.
