Loads of Resident Evil 6 information from San Diego

In San Diego Comic and Video Game fans were treated to a wealth of new information for Resident Evil 6. Details such as videos from each of the missions of Jake, Chris and Leon a new trailer and details of yet another two special edition versions of the game. Now the dust has settled down from all of the hub-ubb in America, we bring you all of the videos and details of the new editions.

The new editions vary depending on if you buy the Xbox 360 version or the PlayStation 3 varient. They come with extra games from the series. The Xbox title comes with a copy of Resident Evil 6 and the Gold Edition of Resident Evil 5 as well as HD versions of Resident Evil 4 and Code Veronica X. Topping off the Xbox “Archive” edition is the animated DVD movie: Degeneration.

The PlayStation Anthology edition includes all 6 of the Resident Evil titles including the HD update of Resident Evil 4 and the directors cut of Resident Evil on the original PlayStation. All of the games will be downloadable from the PlayStation Network. Both version of the game will retail in the USA for $89.99 which means if they make it over to the UK will cost around £70.

From the latest trailer we see Leon trying to help survivors of the latest outbreak. A frantic barricading of the doors shows that the latest incarnations of the C-Virus are faster and more intelligent than ever before. They can open doors and even use weapons against Leon, Chris and Wesker’s Son Jake.
