Marvel’s Midnight Suns Launches December
During the annual Disney D23 event, 2K games and Marvel took to the stage to announce their up and coming strategy game, Marvel’s Midnight Suns will be getting a release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this December. Accompanying the news is a new gameplay trailer.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns is scheduled to release on 2nd December on the current gen platforms. The game will also be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch but the release date will be unveiled at a later date.
Midnight Suns puts you in the place of The Hunter, a customisable hero who sets out to defeat Hydra who have resurrected Lilith, Mother of Demons. Joining you on the quest is the impressive line-up of Iron Man, Captain America, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Scarlet Witch, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, Blade, Ghost Rider, Magik, and Nico Minoru.
Developed by Fireaxis games, who’ve are best known for the XCOM series, Midnight Suns is a card based, 3D strategy RPG in which cards will be used for the combat but typical exploration will be implemented to drive the story. On the lead up to the game’s launch, 5 short videos will be released setting up the game’s story and focuses on how Lilith and The Hunter encountered each other prior to the Avengers.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns will be released on 2nd December for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S & PC. PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One versions will be detailed at a later date.
