UPDATED!! Mass Effect 3 Information

Details have emerged about Bioware’s Mass Effect 3. Launching on 6th March 2012 the game will be released on Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3 and will feature a standard edition & collectors edition. The collectors edition will not just be extra downloadable content. It will have a Premium metal case featuring commemorative artwork of Commander Shepard.

Also, there will be a 70-page hardbound art book featuring hundreds of unique and gorgeous illustrations from the BioWare development team plus an exclusive 4×6 lithographic print featuring a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork. On top of this, players will also get Limited edition Mass Effect comic by Dark Horse Comics, complete with unique cover artwork and be able to Join the ranks of the N7 with the premium fabric N7 patch AND finally a full collection of in-game content that can’t be found anywhere else!

The packshot has also been released for the Xbox version which features an interesting “Kinect” banner.  This has been confirmed as voice commands to navigate menus and directing the supporting parties! This is bringing exciting new ways to use the Kinect sensor rather than just motion controls in games.
