Nierly 10 Minutes of NieR Replicant Ver.1.22474487139… Gameplay Footage

Square Enix have released a new video showing how NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… is coming together. From the looks of things, the game is shaping up rather well.

The action, hack and slash game is a remake of the original PS3 Japanese version from 2010. The western version of the game was slightly different. It was commissioned after the 2017 sequel, NieR Automata took the world (and Square Enix) by surprise.

Built from the ground up for PlayStation 4, Xbox One & PC, NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… tells the story of a young warrior on a quest to help his sister fight a deadly virus that has taken hold of her.

The gameplay video comes in where our protagonist visits the desert kingdom of Façade. The fierce warrior Kainé makes her appearance and you do battle with a creature made of blocks. We’re not going to say more than this in case you want to swerve the story points.
