Nintendo 3DS Demos available today
Nintendo have released the first demos for the Nintendo 3DS today. Resident Evil: Revelations and Cooking Mama 4 are the first titles to be showcased for free. Each demo can be downloaded directly to the system’s memory card from the e-shop and is good for 30 plays.
The Resident Evil demo is a rather large file (over 1100 blocks) and shows off what the game is shaping up to be, with epic graphic design, full voice acting and more control methods than you can shake a stick at. The option to play the game with the Circle Pad Pro is there but unless you have imported one already, there is no point as they both launch on the same day.
Cooking Mama 4 teaches people how to make a simple pizza better than how Mama does it. Using the touchscreen more than the 3D screen it continues the handheld legacy created by the original Nintendo DS games.
For Nintendo and their push to create an online service to rival the Xbox Marketplace, this is a step in the right direction. More demos will be released in the future and we will be here to guide you through which ones to play.
