Our First Look At Life Is Strange: True Colors Gameplay
Square Enix have posted a 13 minute first look at gameplay footage for Life Is Strange: True Colors which is scheduled to release next month. In the first video, Alex explores a record shop in the new town of Haven Springs and escapes ‘death’… twice. Let’s have a look at what’s in store.
The game plays out much like the rest of the series, we watch the story unfold and at certain points, we chose where the story is headed. In the video above we join Alex as she’s introduced to two residents of Haven Springs, a town where her brother Gabe is living with his girlfriend. As she sets off exploring the store and finding out what record he’s managed to get on hold we start to see the decisions that can be taken and how the various different options can form relationships.
After surviving a cat attack and playing the drums, we get a look at Alex’s empathic powers which she’ll use later on when investigating a mysterious death and just as it get’s going, the video ends. It’s great to see how the visuals are stacking and we can’t wait to explore Haven Springs come September. Until then, we have the above video and the gallery below.
Life Is Strange: True Colors will release on PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Steam & Stadia on 10th September. A Nintendo Switch version will follow later in the year.
