The first of two games announced by Annapurna during last night’s Nintendo Direct is a port of the critically acclaimed Outer Wilds. The sci-fi puzzler is a Groundhog Day style space explorer from 2019 and is coming to the Nintendo Switch at some point during the summer.

The game has you in a time loop in which you have only 22 real-time minutes to discover why the sun is about to explode and destroy the solar system. To solve the mysteries and discover how to stop yourself being wiped out over, and over, will take multiple playthroughs. Luckily any information you uncover can be taken into the next loop.

The Outer Wilds was originally released back in 2019 on PC, Xbox & PS4 and has a great average of 85 on Metacritic, so if you are in the mood for an interesting indie game you can now take on the go, this will be one to watch.

The Outer Wilds will take off on the Switch at some point during summer.
